Meet Elisa Vezzani

I am Elisa Vezzani, nice to meet you.

Managing director and co-founder of Inveztments, I have 15 years of experience in the real estate field, but I know experience alone is not enough when competing in a highly competitive arena such as the property market.

Elisa, tell us something about your life…

I was born in Asti, Italy. I was nine when I moved to New York City, then Switzerland and London were the next stops with my family in the early 90s. I settled in London, where I met my then-boyfriend, Tonino, now husband and business partner. I lived in London for 20 years, but now I spend most of my time between Marbella, in the Costa del Sol – where I first invested almost two decades ago – and the UK.

Living in these countries and moving all the times, houses, schools and jobs have made me what I am. It has taught me a lot and has given me the ability to adapt to local cultural norms, learning how to establish a good relationship with people from all over the world.

I’ve loved properties and interiors for as far as I can remember. This passion led me later in life to embark on property developments both as an investor and as an agent — working with people is a gift, and now I also have my own firm!

Not only are knowledge and passion very important, but also the desire to help my customers achieve financial freedom, THAT is what I do. I like to be helpful when it comes to investing and other aspects of life. I help everyone: family, friends, even people I don’t know… it’s just something I love doing

Long journeys, and different cultures make me feel alive, as well as wanting to spend quality time with my family and friends.

I love being a mum to my eight-year-old daughter, Julia. We took a family trip in January 2014, and we travelled for 3 months: Hong Kong, Bali, Australia, New Zealand. The highlight of the trip was spending time with each other disconnecting from the daily routine , going to amazing places and meeting wonderful people, a trip that I will always cherish.

As I lived more than half of my life in England,  I consider it home. I am a anglophile and my favorite city in the world is London. It has it all for everyone, a mix of  history and modern. There are hidden gems, like the Kyoto Japanese Garden, one of my favorite spots. When I am in London I make sure to do as much as possible: theatres, museums, gigs, comedy clubs. I go to my favorite restaurants, markets and parks. Some shopping too of course…

Curriculum Vitae

I was born to work in business development and sales. Some people balk when they hear the word ‘sales’, but it’s all about sales! Without sales, quite simply, you do not have a business. I have helped the organizations I have worked for improve market position and achieve financial growth. Some of my clients were Rolex, Coca Cola, Hilton, and Polaris World. I have my own approach to sales. I am authentic and curious, I  care. My goal has always been to find the best solution for my clients. You should get that, sooner rather than later, if you invest with us!

I officially started working in real estate in 2004, selling properties both to investors and buyers of second homes abroad, selling numerous units per day — most new clients were referrals. I worked in the B2B department of Overseas Property Professional (OPP), which has global exposure. I have helped more than 300 customers achieve their goals and dreams.  When I was directly operating as part of the investor division, I dealt with BIG budgets; clients would normally buy several properties from me in Spain, UK and Thailand. Just a phone call would serve the purpose on most occasions.

With Inveztments I want to be a specialist in the UK and Spain, two countries where I have lived and invested in — yes, performance have been exceptional over the years.

Property Journey

I started my property journey at the age of 23, worked three jobs to save for a deposit to buy my first property in 2001, next to Heathrow. The position was strategic. It was a two bedroom flat, which I have decorated tastefully although on a small budget but that I have put on the market only six months later, for fun. When people viewed they were pleasantly surprised and made offers over the asking price.

Tonino and I bought it at £145,00 and sold it making a profit of 25% in only six months, so we bought a house and started to learn more about promising real estate areas and about property in general — our investment journey had started, and since we have bought and sold several properties in the UK and Spain. This gave us the financial freedom to enjoy the life we want. It does not just happen, there are a few strategies you must abide by, and we have learned all the tricks in years.

Why Inveztments?

I often have my own view on the direction where the market in going, particularly in regards to type of investment offered and clients’ needs.. I was happy to take a break when I left my previous job in mid-2015 to spend time with my family, but my phone just couldn’t stop ringing. Agents who relayed on my help and clients would not stop calling constantly; I distinctly remember when a client told me “you can’t leave, your after sales services are unbeatable!”

There is a huge gap in that respect in the marketplace. So, I launched Inveztments.

Many want to make a fast buck, I don’t. I want to be different, and there is no particular time pressure, not even a bit, because I already know 2018 will be fun.

Mission

We are not the typical real estate agent that seldom invests directly in its portfolio of property; we have skin in the game, often acting as investors with direct exposure to many end markets simultaneously, in order to hedge property and currency risks.

We support the client – not only emotionally! – throughout the project’s lifespan, and also provide after-sale services that include quarterly and half-year updates, if required, focusing on what is actually going on with the client’s investment: should you decide to sell if the window of opportunity is open? Why not!

We are an independent firm with a healthy amount of experience in properties, and a proven track record. If you want us to help you understand our markets, all the sub-sectors we cover, how we can help you invest in property and what you will achieve through a steep learning process that will become much easier with our help: contact us and we’ll guide you through this wonderful investment journey. Enjoy it with us: prosperity from property could be just around the corner.
